When I first changed my major to Communication Studies, I had the opportunity to work with my colleagues at his small startup agency called Vgene Marketing. To build our portfolio and get our name out there, we launched a summer campaign called “110° Summer,” creating nine pieces of content for local businesses free of charge. One of our clients was Pho Basil, a local Vietnamese restaurant. Our team analyzed their menu, brainstormed creative ideas, produced and shot the content, and managed posts through Meta Business Suite according to a set schedule. Even though Pho Basil didn’t end up signing a long-term contract, they were very appreciative of the stock content we created, which they continued to use on their social media pages
