I joined CAAPS (Conference of Asian American Professionals) as an intern, where I had the opportunity to help organize a special networking event connecting the community with the newly elected mayor, Kevin McCarty. During the event, I also assisted with interviewing attendees and collecting media documentation to capture key moments and stories. This experience deepened my understanding of community engagement, event coordination, and the importance of media in bringing people together.
